Australian Chef Benjamin Christie Praises Kyocera’s Perfect Peeler
A couple of months ago I visited for the first time the Home and Housewares show in Chicago. The show would have to be the biggest show for kitchen tools. One of the stands I visited was the Kyocera stand. You are most likely familiar with Kyocera printers, but Kyocera also manufactures a vast range of kitchenware products, with nearly all of them featuring their advanced ceramic blades.
Recently, Kyocera supplied me with one of their newest items, the Kyocera Perfect Peeler. Featuring their unique ceramic technology, the Kyocera Perfect Peeler would have to be one of the best peelers I’ve ever used. It peels thick-skinned ingredients with ease. It felt like running a hot knife through butter, gliding through sweet potatoes without fuss.
The features of the Kyocera Perfect Peeler include:
- Stay sharp ceramic blade which won’t rust
- Rotating Handle, making it suitable for both left-handed and right-handed chefs
- Ergonomic, non-slip handle
- Safe for the dishwasher
Kyocera indicates that the ceramic technology won’t brown food and eliminates that metallic taste or smell you get with metal kitchen tools. They also say that it’s impervious to acids, juices, oils, and salts.
If you’re looking for a new peeler to use in your home kitchen or even to add to your chef toolkit, then I highly recommend you get your hands on the Kyocera Perfect Peeler.
