Haute Hot Dogs

Hot Dog

What backyard barbecue is complete without hot dogs?  To many people, hot dogs are as integral to summer as warm weather.  In fact, Americans eat the most hot dogs between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and have even dubbed July as National Hot Dog Month.  On average, Americans consume about 60 hot dogs each per year.  That’s a lot of hot dogs over the years, considering the Germans first brought hot dogs to America in the 1800s.  For those of us eating 60 hot dogs, plain ketchup and mustard can get a little humdrum.  This year, why not try spicing up summer with new and exciting hot dog toppings?

At Kyocera, we like to experiment to produce the best possible results, both with our advanced ceramic knives and kitchen products and with our recipes.  So we’ve compiled this list of hot dog condiments, relishes, meats and cheeses, and fruits and veggies, which can make a unique and delicious hot dog in any combination.  Why not try a mustard, chili, and sauerkraut dog?  Or a guacamole, bacon, and cheddar dog?  With so many fun possibilities, you’ll want to eat your share of hot dogs this summer!
