  • No honing is needed for Kyocera Advanced Ceramic knives
  • Never attempt to sharpen your knife at home – diamond wheels are required to sharpen any ceramic knife — please follow the instructions below for complimentary sharpening

Our ceramic blades require diamond wheels to be sharpened.  Ceramic knives will require sharpening approx 1/10th as often as steel knives.   Kyocera offers complimentary lifetime sharpening with a nominal fee for shipping & handling ($10 per shipment – up to as many Kyocera knives owned).  We accept checks, money orders, cash, or credit cards.  Please fill out the form below, enclose your payment, package your knife safely (so that no edges protrude from the box), insure the package, and send it to:

LIFETIME WARRANTY

Buying a Kyocera knife is buying for life.  If your knife is chipped or damaged, Kyocera Tycom Corp. (KTC) will repair or replace.  Any knife that is no longer available and cannot be repaired will be replaced by a comparable knife at KTC’s discretion. This warranty extends only to the product’s original purchaser, U.S. residents only.  This warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use of the knife or accidental damage to the knife.  Small chips and/or broken tips can often be corrected by sharpening.  This warranty gives you specific legal rights, which vary from state to state.  To process your warranty claim, please send your name, physical address, phone number, and the safely packaged knife to:

THE ABOVE WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND KTC MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PRODUCT OR RELATING TO ITS QUALITY, PERFORMANCE, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  KTC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR SPECIAL DAMAGES WHETHER A CLAIM IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE.  IN NO EVENT WILL KTC’S LIABILITY EXCEED THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT.
